About us:

Google chose Dublin as our EMEA HQ back in 2004 and since then our presence there has grown in line with the growth of our organisation.

When we located our office in the heart of the historic dockyards district, we were proud to help put Dublin on the map as a technology hub in Europe and to lift the Docklands area itself out of its decaying state. Today it is teeming with start ups and massive tech companies and is totally revitalised.

The Dublin office is made up of over 2000 Googlers from over 65 countries, overseeing sales and infrastructure for our businesses in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Dublin provides the perfect environment for our EMEA HQ, because of the large and educated talent pool, the technological background, and the perfect climate meaning the servers stay cool without too much expenditure on powerful cooling systems!

Virtually everyone knows what Google does. We focus on helping small and medium-sized businesses and working with major global companies across the region, with our AdWords, AdSense, Display and Mobile advertising offerings.

Our engineering teams have scaled all of Google’s products and infrastructure across the entire EMEA area, from Search to Chrome to Gmail and Google+.
