In the last two years over $700 million dollars have been invested on the island of Ireland in cloud and data infrastructure alone. The island of Ireland is committed to leveraging this to becoming a European Centre for Excellence in Research, Development and Innovation in Cloud Computing and Data Analytics. The Irish Government is investing over $15 million dollars in two new industry led International Technology Research Centres in Data Analytics and Cloud Computing.
The IDCC is a multi sector initiative which represents Irish based cloud computing and data analytics firms, both multinational and indigenous, on national and European levels through the Irish Government’s official Enterprise Ireland/ IDA Ireland Clustering Programme.
