IDCC
The Irish Data and Cloud Cluster was created to facilitate and accelerate the growth of cloud
computing and data analytics sectors in Ireland.
The IDCC is designed to support Ireland becoming Europe’s leading country for data analytics and
cloud computing by enhancing the competitiveness, productivity, innovation and entrepreneurial
capacity of Irish based firms, both multinational and indigenous.
The Irish Data and Cloud Cluster is supported as an official pilot cluster through Irish state
agencies Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland Pilot Clustering Programme.
IDA Ireland is the agency responsible for industrial development in Ireland. The IDA is
responsible for the development and promotion of foreign industry and enterprise in Ireland. The
IDA is focusing on attracting high value investment into Ireland such as Research &
Development activities, European Headquarters, Advanced manufacturing and supply chain
management activities.
Enterprise Ireland is the Irish leading state economic development agency focused on helping
Irish-owned business deliver new export sales. The core mission of Enterprise Ireland is to
accelerate the development of Irish enterprises capable of achieving strong positions in global
markets resulting in increased national and regional prosperity and purchasing power.
